Training for Employees
CMS Training at San José State is provided by full-time software analyst/trainers, fully versed in the topics for which they train.
CMS training courses are held in Clark Hall 503 and 505. Our trainers have created a comfortable learning environment by providing you with ergonomic desks and chairs, pens and notepads for note taking, an assortment of drinks and snacks, adequate breaks, and an environment free of distraction.
Please be on time. Late arrivals may be refused attendance and may be asked to take the training another day.

Enroll in Training Courses
All CMS classroom training courses are available for enrollment via Employee Self Service in MySJSU. For step-by-step instructions on how to search for and enroll in a course, review our guide:
The most efficient way to search for classes is by date. If the course(s) you seek are not currently offered, please contact the CMS Training Team.
Additional Courses Available
Many classes offered by Human Resources and other areas on campus are also available. You can enroll in these courses the same way you enroll in a CMS training course. Contact the specific department for details if you don't see the class you're looking for.
Request System Access
Please note that while completing a specific course authorizes you for specific access, your manager must sign the CMS System Access Request form to confirm your need for the access.
Additional access can be granted later based on any additional training you complete, but you may submit this request form after completing any training courses:
