Alert-SJSU is San José State University’s system for warning students, staff, and faculty in the event of a natural disaster or other emergency on-campus. Emergency information and instructions can be sent via text message to your cell phone, audio message to a cell or other telephone, or to an email account. This information may, for example, caution you to avoid certain areas of campus, let you know if classes are cancelled due to an emergency situation, or provide vital information on what actions to take if you are on-campus during such a situation.
