Set up Your Payment Preferences

  1. Click the Log into MySJSU button (in original window) and enter User ID and password
    Note: These instructions opened in a new window. We suggest you click the login button in your original window so you can still refer back to these instructions after you have logged in
  2. In the Student Center, click online payments and account services
  3. Click the Student Account Home button
  4. Click the My Profiles tab, and then click the Payment Profile tab
  5. Use the drop down menu to select Bank Account, and then click the Go button
  6. Complete the following:
    • Account Nickname: Enter nickname for account (e.g. Primary Checking)
    • Account Type: Use drop down menu to select account type
    • ABA Routing Number: Click on the View Details link for details
    • Account Number: Enter bank account number
    • Confirm Account Number: Enter bank account number
    • Name on Account: Enter full name on account
    • Refund Option: Check this box if you would like any future refunds to be electronically deposited into this account
  7. Click the Save button
  8. Read agreement carefully
  9. Enter last 4 digits of your student ID number
  10. Click the I Agree button. The Payment Profile page displays indicating that your payment method has been saved
  11. Use the drop down menu to select Credit/Debit Card, and then click the Go button
  12. Enter your debit card number. Do not include dashes or spaces, and then click the Continue button
  13. Complete the following:
    • Choose Payment Type: Your card can be processed as a debt card or as a credit card. Use radio buttons to select the payment type you prefer
    • Card Number: Enter debt card number. Do not include dashes or spaces
    • Account Nickname: Enter nickname for account (e.g. My Debt Card)
    • Cardholder Name: Enter full name on card
    • Expiration Date: Use the drop down menus to select card expiration date
    • Credit Card Type: Use the drop down menus to select credit card type
  14. Click on the Save button. The Payment Profile page displays indicating that your payment method has been saved
  15. Use the drop down menu to select Credit/Debit Card, and then click the Go button
  16. Enter your credit card number. Do not include dashes or spaces, then click the Continue button
  17. Complete the following:
    • Account Nickname: Enter nickname for account (e.g. My Debt Card)
    • Cardholder Name: Enter full name on card
    • Expiration Date: Use the drop down menus to select card expiration date
    • Credit Card Type: Use the drop down menus to select credit card type
  18. Click the Save button
  19. The Payment Profile page displays indicating that your payment method has been saved
