To search for specific information inside an Adobe Acrobat document, please use the following steps:
- Click Edit
- Select Find
- Enter the text you wish to search for in the Find What field
- Select additional search options by checking or unchecking the boxes:
- Match Whole Word Only - checking this box means you will search for the entire word you typed in the search box
- Match Case - checking this box means your search will find you only items match the exact case you entered in the search box (recommend leaving this unchecked)
- Find Backwards - checking this box you will search backward through the document, as opposed to the default of forward
- Ignore Asian Character Width - leave this box unchecked
- Once all information is entered, click the Find button - you will be taken to the first instance of your search
- Click the Find Again button to be taken to the next instance of your search
- To view the information the page, click Cancel or close the Search window
